The SHERO’S Awards will pay tribute to five outstanding women of distinction who have improved the quality of life for many Philadelphians. The event will take place on Sunday, April 14, 2013 from 3pm–6pm.
This year's honorees are: Barbara Bullock, Artist & Educator; Varsovia Fernandez, President & CEO of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; Patty Jackson, Radio Personality; Mellanie K. Lassiter, External Affairs Manager, PECO; and Charisse Lillie, Vice President of Community Investment, Comcast Corporation and President, Comcast Foundation.
The awards will be presented at a “High Tea” reception at the museum. There will also be a chance to win two round trip tickets on Southwest Airlines.
